22 January, 2010 - Nano Equipment launched its first 5 Android applications on Android Market through U.S. partner droidXc (www.droidXc.com). The applications include productivity tools using location based technologies. Client-server technologies are also showcased through the integration of Google Docs and Google Calendar. 15 January, 2010 - N.E.mation! is a competition for youths to express their notions on Total Defence through animation organized by Nexus, Ministry of Defence. This year in N.E.mation! 4, students are asked to use their creativity to produce storylines centred around the theme of "Why I Care About Singapore". The animation clips of the top ten finalist teams can now be viewed by making a 3G video call to the number 6828 9966. Callers can also vote for 3 favorite clips during the video call.
The service is implemented using an Interactive Video Response (IVVR) system and is free for public to access (normal call charges apply). The voting period ends 1st Feb 2010.
3 November 2009 - Telkomsel launched the "Sang Juara" music video clip on its 3G Video Portal in support of Indonesian athletes for the upcoming SEA Games 2009. The music video was contributed by pop group Duo Maia and it would be used as the theme song when celebrating the winning of any national sports events. In his speech at the launch, Telkomsel President Director Mr Sarwoto Atmosutarno hailed the unique collaboration between sports (PERTINA), technologies (Telkomsel 3G), and music (Duo Maia).

13 August 2009 - Every year, tens of millions of Indonesians head home from Jakarta to celebrate the end of Ramadan holiday Eid al-Fitr. An estimated 27.25 million people are expected to be on the move over the coming days in this year's exodus with 11 million to travel home by car and motorcycle. Telkomsel, the largest mobile operator in Indonesia is leveraging 3G video call technologies to provide travellers with real-time traffic video information. Through the 9119 traffic monitoring service, travellers can view real-time streaming video of traffic situation at 14 strategic traffic points along the 'mudik routes' on their mobile phone. These are Ciawi, Cianjur, Sadang, Simpang Pasteur, Cileunyi, Nagrek, Bakauheni, Merak, Cikopo, Kanci, Semarang, Ketapang, Gilimanuk, and Suramadu. Click here for Telkomsel press release.
1 August 2009 - Telkomsel, the largest mobile operator in Indonesia leverages the ease of mobile video recording and uploading using 3G video call technologies for their latest "Juara Hati" campaign. The campaign is an interactive marketing effort to promote their simPATI brand of mobile service. Viewers are invited to vote and influence the love story of Adrian and Tisha portrayed in the Juara Hati TVC. Viewers are also invited to submit videos of their own rendition of the theme song 'Ajari Ku'. Prizes will be given to the Top 10 videos. Recognizing the reach of mobile devices and the convenience of directly recording and uploading video through a simple call, Telkomsel has decided to deploy the 3G video call based recording service for the participants to record and submit their videos. 16 March 2009 - Akademi Fantasia, the religiously-followed reality singing competition in Malaysia returns for its seventh season. They have been rated the most popular Chinese language station in Malaysia nine years in a row according to AC Nielson surveys.
